Palladium-catalyzed asymmetric allylic substitution with a cyclopentadienide: asymmetric synthesis of metallocenes
-
Add time:09/24/2019 Source:sciencedirect.com
Asymmetric synthesis of a chiral cyclopentadiene (98% ee) was realized for the first time by palladium-catalyzed asymmetric allylation of sodium cyclopentadienide in dioxane. The cyclopentadiene was readily converted into chiral metallocenes of iron, zirconium, and titanium, whose enantiomeric excesses are over 99%.
