The cyclic organophosphorus compounds 1 - 8 are prepared in high yields (82 - 95percent) by reacting Me3SnP(CF3)2 with dienes at 70 deg C, the dienophile for the <2+4> cycloadditions being the intermediate F3CP=CF2.
