New and effective route to N-methyl 2-F-alkylethylamines

A new and effective procedure is described for the synthesis of N-methyl 2-F-alkylethylamines avoiding the formation of 2-F-alkylethylethenes usually occurring in the N-alkylation of 2-F-alkylethyl iodides by amines.
