Ph3GeSiMe3 and Ph3GeSiMe2Fe(CO)2(η⁵-C5H5) have been synthesized and their crystal structures determined.The Ge-Si bond in iron (2.405(2) angstroem) is longer by 0.021 angstroem than in the simple germylsilane (2.384(1) angstroem).The significan
