Structures of stolonidiol (1) and stolonidiol monoacetate (2), new marine diterpenoids with a strong cytotoxic activity from the Japanese soft coral Clavularia sp., were estabilished by means of spectroscopic analyses, chemical reactions, and X-ray crystallographic analysis.
