A convenient and efficient procedure for one pot preparation of novel Schiff bases through three component reactions of heterocyclic aldehyde, ammonium hydroxide and other aldehyde is described. In this reaction, the desired products were easily obtained in excellent yields and in short reaction time under mild conditions.
