The preparation of complexes of the type {Pt(R3P)2[(SPR2),N]} X (R = Ph, OPh, X = Cl-, PF-6) and {Pt(PR3)[N(SPR2)2]Cl} is described. The new complexes have been characterized by NMR and IR, microanaiyses and in the case of {Pt(PPh3)[N(SPPh2)2]Cl} by X-ray crystallography. The PtS2P2N ring adopts a pseudo-boat conformation.
