An additional starter species [allenylpalladium(II)] has been implemented for palladium catalysed cascade cyclisation-anion capture processes. Good yields of bis-cyclisation-anion products involving anionic (NaBPh₄), neutral (CO/MeOH) and organometallic (Bu₃SnR) capture agents are reported.
