P-diphenylarylsulfophosphamides can be obtained by condensation of Ph₂PLi on various arylsulfonyl chlorides. These sulfonamide phosphorus analogues exhibit facile cathodic cleavage reaction yielding, after quenching, diphenylphosphinic acid and arylsulfide.
