N-aryl 1-per(poly)fluoroalkyl acetylenic imines (3), the cross coupling products of N-aryl per(poly)fluoroalkyl imidoyl iodides with acetylenes, could be used as novel precursors to synthesize fluorinated heterocycles such as pyrazoles and pyrimidines.
