The mechanism of the title catalytic system was investigated, in particular by synthesizing several compounds that model the postulated metal-oxo-propargyloxo intermediates, such as [Ti(μ-O)(O-Bu')(O₂CTol)]₂ (Tol = p-MeC₆H
