The nitrosyl complexes trans-A2 (1; A = BF4 or NO3; dppe = Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) and trans- (2) have been prepared from the reactions of NO or NO with trans-. an unusual facile oxidation of NO to nitrate is involved in the formation of (1, A = NO3), the X-ray structure of which is reported.
