Hydrostannation of the internal alkynes (2,7) with tri-n-butyltin hydride afforded the alkenylstannes (3,8) regioselectively, from wich the ketones (6,11,12), intermediates for the synthesis of carbapenem and carbacephem skeletons, were synthesized.
