[14] The nucleoside-loaded cpg was chosen as an inexpensive source
of a DMT-protected, alcohol-displaying support for automated
DNA synthesis, even though the deoxynucleoside loaded onto
the support was, in itself, not required. The first nucleoside does
serve as a useful internal standard for HPLCanalyses of crudes,
however.

further technical advances, the current results again demon-
strate that nucleic acids in themselves have a strong propen-
sity to undergo spontaneous replication reaction sequence
selectively.
