In summary, a novel aggregation of (4-nitrophenoxy)acetic
acid [1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)methylidene]hydrazide and its diox-
omolybdenum(VI) complex has been obtained. The structure
of the compound was characterized by elemental analysis and
single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. The hydrazone ligand
coordinates to the Mo atoms through the phenolic O, imino N,
and enolic O atoms.
