The synthesis and biological activity of a series of pentacyclo[5.4.0.02,6.03,10.05,9]undecyl-8-amino derivatives are described. The activity of the compounds to antagonize the reserpine induced catatonia (anticataleptic) and their ability to reduce the oxotremorine induced tremor and salivation were determined in order to evaluate their potential as anti-Parkinson agents. Promising anticataleptic and mild to weak anticholinergic activities were observed for these compounds. The influence of substituents is discussed.
