the full solubility (via reaction) of the initial CuI complex
as expressed by the sum of the oxidation peak currents
ipO2 + iOp3 (Fig. 3d) which was higher than iOp2 observed at
lower CsOH concentrations (Fig. 3c).13b Importantly, the
ratio ipO2/iOp3 did not reflect the ratio of the thermodynamic
concentrations of the two complexes but dynamic concen-
trations since [(ket′)CuI]− was oxidized first at O2. Its con-
sumption by oxidation in the diffusion layer resulted in the
shift of the equilibrium towards [(ket′)CuI]− (CE mechan-
