[Fv(Cr₂(CO)₆] (Fv = fulvalene, η⁵:η⁵-C₁₀H₈) exhibits the longest hithero known CpCr-CrCp bond and constitutes a catalyst for the radical dihydrogenation of conjugated dienes.
