the Pd nanoparticles. The as-prepared WO3 MTs also
demonstrated high selectivity in the photocatalytic partial
oxidation of propan-2-ol to acetone under visible light
irradiation. Such high selectivity arises from the unique
reactivity of the photogenerated holes on WO3 MTs based on
the balance of the low affinity of WO3 and the low activity of
Pd species.
