Photolysis of R3PAuN3 (1) results in a reductive elimination of the azide group yielding R3PAu⁰ moieties which then combine to form Au clusters.In the presence of metal carbonyls heterometalic clusters are obtained.In the case of Mo(CO)6 the ca
