Use of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Yeasts in the Chemoselective Bioreduction

synthetic point of view, the use of BY in the bioreduction
of the C=C double bonds of an α,β-unsaturated carbonyl
compound showed considerable advantages since the
product was obtained with high chemoselectivity under
mild, eco-friendly reaction conditions.
