3.47. Found: C, 59.13; H, 5.57; N, 3.35. IR data (KBr cm−1): 3390(m),
2936(w), 2370(w), 1638(m), 1490(m), 1407(m), 1240(s), 1110(s),
1027(m), 851(m), 758(m), 666(w).
[Pr(LOMe)(H2O)4]·2.5DMA·3H2O (2). Yield: 65%. Elemental analysis
calcd (%) for 2: C46H64.5O17.5N2.5Pr: C, 51.47; H, 6.06; N, 3.26. Found:
C, 52.03; H, 6.21; N, 3.48. IR data (KBr cm−1): 3408(m), 2945(w),
2370(w), 1639(m), 1499(m), 1416(s), 1240(s), 1120(m), 1018(w),
842(m), 749(m), 666(w).

X-ray Structural Crystallography. The data of two crystals were
measured on an Agilent Super nova with Cu-Kα radiation source (λ
= 1.54178 Å). The absorption corrections of two crystals were
employed by the program SADABS.[26] Structures were refined with
anisotropy on F2, and by full-matrix least-squares with
SHELXTL-97.[27] The SQUEEZE procedure was applied to eliminate
the disordered solvent molecules, then a new file was generated.
Two crystal structures were inspected through the Addsym
subprogram of PLATON[28] to undertake that no attached symmetry
should be used to the models. Two crystallographic data are filed in
Table S1, then the sectional bond lengths and angles are filed in
Table S2, S3. A total of the topological analyses and some graphs
was generated applying the TOPOS program.[29] CCDC numbers
(1426669, 1426670) including the supplementary crystallographic
data can be obtained from the Cambridge Crystallographic Data
Center.

Conclusions
In summary, two lanthanide (Eu and Pr) MOFs with different
structures have been synthesized based on
anthracene-functionality semi-rigid
a
novel
ligand
3,3'-((2,3,6,7-tetramethoxyanthracene-9,10-diyl)bis(4,1-phenylene))
diacrylic acid (H2LOMe) under solvothermal conditions. Complex 1
exhibits a 2D net with single nodal 44-sql topology, and the nets
further form a 3D framework by strong π…π interactions. Complex
2 features an open 3D framework with {42.84}-PtS topology showing
1D channels along c axis. Importantly, 2 shows good sensing to the
small organic molecules and metal ions, especially 4-nitrophenol
and Al3+ by fluorescent technique. Moreover, 2 has potential
application for selective adsorption of CO2 over CH4, and shows high
catalytic activities to the cyanosilylation reaction.
