Stable new N-alkyliminodialanes [(CH3)2N(CH2)3N(AlH2)2]2·THF and [(Ch3)2NCH2(CH3)CHN(AlH2)2]2·THF have been prepared from AlH3·THF (or NaAlH4) and the corresponding amine(or hydrochloride derivative). These products have been characterized principally by mass spectrometry.
