  • Many people think that sub-health is mainly caused by unhealthy living ways and high pressure of work and life. In fact, the physical health is also greatly affected by the diet. Proper and healthy diet can relieve the symptoms of sub-health and even remove them completely. Some dietary skills are introduced to deal with four particular symptoms of sub-health. 

    The first symptom is insomnia. Many people are always troubled by insomnia which is usually caused by high mental pressure, emotional stress and the imbalanced supplementation of nutrients. Insomnia can cause serious results like neurasthenia, headache, inefficiency and even chronic fatigue syndrome. In order to relieve insomnia, people can take the tablets of calcium, magnesium and vitamin B6 in the evening to improve the sleep, as mineral substances can relieve the nerves. At the same time, people should decrease the intake of salt and increase the intake of plant protein.

    The second symptom is unhealthy habit of drinking water. Some people drink water only when they are thirsty, which is unhealthy. Such a habit can cause constipation. People should drink at least 6 cups of boiled water every day and avoid drinking too much liquor, strong tea, coffee, carbonated beverage.

    The third symptom is constipation. Constipation can be easily caused by high intake of refined food, the lack of exercises, high pressure of work and life and unsmooth defecation. The long-term constipation can cause haemorrhoids, flatulence, insomnia, headache, halitosis, obesity, varicosity, cecitis and colorectal cancer. It is necessary for people to eat the foods containing coarse fibers frequently. Vegetables and fruits are also necessary. In addition, aerobic exercises like walk are also beneficial to the improvement of constipation.

    The fourth symptom is inefficiency of work. The inefficiency of work is one of obvious symptoms of sub-health among people. The relevant symptoms are declining memory, slowed blood circulation, hidden cardiovascular diseases and overstrain. Various diseases can be seriously caused, such as obesity, hyperosteogeny, disorders of the digestive system, gastric disease, myocardial weakness, high blood pressure, coronary disease and haemorrhoids. The ways to improve these symptoms of sub-health are to reduce the intake of fat and to increase the intake of foods containing vitamin C, vitamin B and vitamin E to improve the supersession of the brain and the nerve system. The balanced supplementation of nutrition is also necessary.

    In short, people should pay great attention to the relationship between nutrition and health. The dietary skills can be used to improve the physical conditions and avoid the deterioration of sub-health.
