New building blocks for the preparation of branched oligonucleotides

New building blocks 2 and 3 were prepared and successfully employed for the synthesis of branched oligonucleotides 5 and 6. The structure of oligomers obtained was confirmed by electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry.
