Two new steryl esters, 5α-stigmast-11-en-3β-yl palmitate and 24-ethyl-5α-cholesta-8(14),25-dien-3β-yl stearate have been isolated from the rhizomes of Cryptocoryne spiralis.Their structures have been established on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic studies.
