The reaction of diphenyltin bis(dithiocarboxylates) with N-bromosuccinimide yielded thioacylsulfenyl bromides, which reacted with alcohols and sodium dithiocarboxylates etc. to afford novel O-alkyl thioacylsulfenates and unsymmetrical disulfides.
