Reaction of dichlorocarbene with 1,2-dihydro 1,2 λ3-azaphosphinine-boranes: Dichlorocyclopropanation and insertion into boron-hydrogen bond

The reaction of dichlorocarbene with 1,2-dihydro 1,2 λ³-azaphosphinine-boranes gave regioselective dichlorocyclopropanation and also insertion of dichlorocarbene into B-H bond. This insertion reaction is general and can be a useful synthetic method for the preparation of functionalized phosphine-boranes.
