Model Type Calculations of the Vibrational Spectra of Tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphane and Tris(triphenylsilyl)phosphane

The vibrational spectra of Tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphane-d₀ and -d₂₇ as well as Tris(triphenylsilyl)phosphane are reported and assigned.A normal coordinate analysis has been performed.The resulting SiP valence force constants (190 and 200 N/m) are compared with the force constants of other silylphosphanes. - (Keywords: Force constants; Phosphanes; Silylphosphanes; Vibrational spectra)
