Reductive cleavage of 2-phenylsulfonylaziridines with sodium amalgam provides an attractive synthetic route to 2-unsubstituted aziridines.LiAlH4 gives several compounds.DIBAH causes a sulfur-oxygen cleavage to form 2-phenylthioaziridines which are also prepared from 2-phenylsulfinylaziridines.
