Introduction of the sodium salt of 3-hydroxy-N-methylpiperidine into the aggregates of NiCRA's (NaH-RONa-NiX₂) led to unprecedented very efficient desulfurizing reagents as checked with dibenzothiophene derivatives and representative sulfurated compounds.
