4 present interesting skeleton and geometries that ought to be
tested in medicinal chemistry; their preparation being difficult to

In relation to compounds 3 and 4, vinblastine is an interesting example
as it contains not only the indoline skeleton but also a 9-membered ring
in the second fragment.
