The molecular structure of the oxygen-sulphur exchange reagent 2 has been determined by X-ray diffraction.It is monoclinic, space group P2₁/n, with a=6.410(1), b=11.701(3), c=11.409(2) Angstroem, β=101.92(2) degree, Z=2, and R=0.044 for 1473 unique observed reflections.
