In order to confirm that metric aspects enable massive self-assembly of 1 and 3c,d into honeycomb nets, powder X-ray diffraction (pXRD) analyses were carried out for 3c (Figure S5) and 3d (Figure 4). Experimental patterns nicely match patterns simulated from single crystal analyses, and the phase purity of the crystallized compounds is thus proven.
