    As shown in Figure 2, conditions C1 and C2 fixed the stoichiometries of CrCl3 (CAS 10025-73-7) and Co(acac)2 (CAS 123334-29-2) with MeMgBr (CAS 75-16-1), and varied their mole fraction against the ligands of L1 and IPr·HCl, respectively. Both of these conditions gave maximum conversion to the hydrogenated product 2a or 3a in mole fraction of 0.5, indicating that a 1:1 stoichiometry of chromium or cobalt versus the related ligand of L1 or IPr can be considered for the reactive species in the hydrogenation.
