  Table 2 summarizes the ν˜ (CO), ν˜ (Cd  C), and, if applicable, the ν˜ (COOEt) data for the complexes in their various oxidation states. The second oxidation induces a further, yet even smaller blue shift of the CO band than was observed for the first oxidation. Pertinent data are provided in Table 2.
