Effect of SC-19220, a prostaglandin inhibitor on the antilipolytic action of prostaglandin E2, propranalol and insulin in the isolated rat adipocyte

These studies showed that SC-19220 can act to reverse the antilipolytic action of PGE2. The compound does not produce the reversal by epinephrine potentiation and has no effect on the antilipolytic action of propranalol or insulin suggesting some degree of specificity. Spectral and chromatographic studies did not show any chemical interaction.
