    First, fruits and vegetables which are rich in vitamin C--to prevent pre-eclampsia.

    Second, honey--to promote sleep and prevent constipation.

If pregnant women drink a glass of honey water before going to bed, it can bring a sedative effect on the body and improve sleep quality. In addition, if the they add a few drops of honey when drinking water, it can relax the bowels, and effectively prevent constipation and hemorrhoids.

    Third, fish--to avoid maldevelopment of fetal brain.
    Nutritionists point out that, the DHA contained in fish is a kind of essential fatty acids, which plays an important role in the formation of cell membranes of fetal brain. After the investigation on tens of thousands of pregnant women, some research experts have found that, often eating fish in pregnancy can promote the growth and development of the brain cells of the fetuses. As a result, experts suggest that pregnant women should eat fish at least once or twice every week, so as to absorb enough DHA to meet the needs of the development of fetal brain. In addition, eating fish once a week during the pregnancy can also help reduce the likelihood of premature birth.

    Fourth, soybean sprouts--to promote the construction of fetal tissues and organs.
    The growth and development of fetuses needs a large number of proteins. It is the basic material for the differentiation of fetal cells and the formation of fetal organs. Soybean sprouts contain a lot of proteins and vitamin A, which not only are essential to the fetuses, but also can store in the body of pregnant women, so as to supply the consumption during the childbirth and postpartum lactation.
