- To Have Supper in a Healthy Way

Once, lunch was the most important dinner in our daily life. However, because of more and more rapid pace of people's life, great attention has been transferred to supper. While, in fact, supper is the arch-criminal of many diseases. In addition, stable food is an indispensable part in supper. Actually, each dinner needs stable food, and the stable food in supper should be mainly porridge. Now, it's time for us to deal with some problems about supper and to see how to have supper in a healthy way.
The first question is the suitable time to have supper. The best time for supper is about 6 pm, and you should never go to bed in four hours after supper. In fact, we should not eat too much in the evening, and the specific content should be decided by our body situation and personal needs. You’d better not eat anything after 8 pm except drinking water. The first four hours after supper is the time to digest the food, so you’d better not fall asleep during the time.
The second question is what you should eat for supper. Proper food can not only be beneficial to your health, but also help you fall asleep well. The food with rich tryptophane and the food with vitamin B are both suitable. The food with rich tryptophane mainly includes millet, grain, banana and seaweed. For example, millet is the best hypnotic tool among the grain, for it contains the richest tryptophane. In addition, millet contains lots of starch, which is helpful to make people feel full and accelerate the secretion of insulin. The food with rich vitamin B includes animal livers, milk and eggs which can eliminate people’s anxiety.
The third question is what foods should not be eaten for supper. Many people complain that they fail to have a good sleep in the evening and they explained the reasons such as rapid pace of life, great pressure or serious diseases. While, one fact has been neglected, that is, improper supper can lead to a bad sleep. Many foods are not suitable to eat for supper, including gas-forming foods like corn and pea, spicy food like chili and garlic, heavy food like pork, meat soup, wine and some excitant food like tea, coffee and cola. For instance, chili will make our body temperature raise and cause indigestion which will finally lead to a bad sleep.
In short, important questions include the proper time and proper foods should be paid great attention to when we have supper in order to keep ourselves healthy and provide good sleep for ourselves.
