  • As we all know, fruits are very beneficial to human health, so more and more people begin to regard fruits as an indispensable part in their daily diets. However, few of them realize that there are some taboos of eating fruits, as some kinds of fruits should not be eaten in an empty stomach. Otherwise, it may easily bring some adverse effects to the body, or even cause some serious diseases.

    First, tomato
    Tomato contains a great amount of substances such as pectin and soluble astringent, which are easy to have chemical reaction with the gastric acid, and then coagulate into some lumps which are not easy to be dissolved. These lumps can block the exit of the stomach--pylorus, so that to increase the pressure in the stomach, which will further result in the dilatation of the stomach and make people feel distending pain in the stomach.

    Second, persimmon
    Persimmon contains pectin, tannic acid and tannin red pigment and other substances, which all have a strong astringent effect. When these substances interact with the gastric acid with strong concentration in an empty stomach, they are easy to combine with the gastric acid, and coagulate into the lumps that are difficult to be dissolved. Small lumps can be excreted out of the body with the feces. However, if the lumps are relatively big, it will easily cause the stomach stone.

    Third, banana
    Banana contains a large amount of magnesium. If you eat a lot of bananas in an empty stomach, it will make the magnesium in the blood increase all at once, which will cause the ratio imbalance between the magnesium and calcium in the blood, and inhibit the function of the cardiovascular, thus bringing adverse effects to the body.

    Fourth, orange

    Fifth, hawthorn

    Six, fresh litchi
    You should pay attention not to eat too much fresh litchi in an empty stomach, otherwise, it will make the body take in too much sugar in a short period, which can lead to "hypertonicity coma".
