It is shown that alkyl α-thiocyano and/or α-isothiocyano ethyl carbonates and carbamates can be obtained by reaction of the corresponding alkyl α-chloroethyl carbonates and carbamates with MSCN (M = NH4, K).The first results obtained with octylchloroallyl carbonate are also reported.
