Using methods of nuclear magnetic resonance, gel-permeation chromatography, and differential-scanning calorimetry, we showed that N-carboxamides were capable of polymerization. The polymerization mechanism of N-carboxamides in the presence of e-caprolactam sodium salt was suggested.
