that only the desired product and disulfide were formed. The yield of 6b
and 6c were estimated based on HPLC-MS spectra, as 6c has a
significantly enhanced absorbance when compared with the starting
peptide. Due to co-elution on preparative HPLC between 6a and 6b and
the iodobenzoate formed during the reaction, pure isolated compounds
could not be obtained and no calibration was performed. Nevertheless,
isolation and calibration was performed on products 6c, 11a, 12b, 13b,
