Inverse electron demand hetero diels-alder reactions of solid supported α-acilthiones

A solid supported dienic α,α′-dioxothione, obtained from the corresponding resin-linked β-chetoester, is able to react with vinyl ethers to give chemo- and regiospecifically the expected oxathiin cycloadducts.
