- To Drink Yogurt in A Right Way

Yogurt is one of common drinks in our daily life. It plays an important role in helping us keep healthy. However, if we drink yogurt in an improper way, our health will be seriously threatened. Therefore, it is necessary for us to learn the right way of drinking yogurt.
It is beneficial to drink a cup of milk in the morning and a cup of yogurt in the evening. Some people very like to drink yogurt and drink lots of yogurt after dinner, which can probably add the weight. Yogurt contains energy to some degree. If people drink yogurt after dinner, it means that people absorb another amount of energy, which make the weight increase. It is suitable for people to drink one to two cups of yogurt after half an hour or one hour after dinner. Thus intestinal flora can be adjusted to benefit the human health.
Some people are puzzled by the question that whether yogurt can be heated to drink. Some people think the nutrition contained in yogurt can be destroyed if yogurt is heated. In fact, yogurt can be heated to a tepid degree. Many people afraid that lactic acid bacteria contained in yogurt which can produce lactic acid and increase the acidity in intestinal tract will be killed if yogurt is heated. In fact, if yogurt is heated to a tepid degree, the activity of lactic acid bacteria can be increased.
It is common for people to collocate yogurt with many other kinds of food like bread and dessert. But not all the food can be collocated with yogurt, such as processed meat like sausage. Processed meat contains lots of nitrous acid which can react with amine in yogurt to form nitrosamine, a kind of carcinogen. In addition, yogurt can not be drunk if people have to take medicines like antibiotic drugs which can kill lactic acid bacteria. It is better for people to collocate yogurt with the food containing starch, such as rice, noodles and bread.
Many people regard yogurt as a tool to allay the hunger. In fact, it is not wise to drink yogurt when people are hungry. When people are hungry, the acidity of gastric acid is rather high and gastric acid at the moment can kill lactic acid bacteria. In addition, after drinking yogurt, people must brush the teeth in time, as some bacteria and acid substances contained in yogurt can be harmful to the teeth.
In short, yogurt should not be drunk casually. Yogurt can play its maximum role in helping people keep healthy only when it is drunk in a right way.
