  • As we all know, soybean milk is very nutritious. It is very beneficial for human health and the prevention of certain diseases. However, there are some taboos of drinking soybean milk. If we do not pay attention, it is very easy to bring negative impacts on our body, resulting in some inevitable injuries.

    First, avoid drinking uncooked soybean milk drink:
    Uncooked soybean milk is harmful to human body. Because it contains two kinds of toxic substances, which would lead to protein metabolism disorders and stimulations on the gastrointestinal tract, causing the symptom of poisoning. The method to prevent the poisoning of soybean milk is to boil the soybean milk at the high temperature of 100 ℃, then you can rest assured and drink it.

    Second, avoid putting egg in the soybean milk:
    Many people like to put egg in the soybean milk, thinking it is more nutritious. However, this method is unscientific and even harmful. It is because that the mucus protein in egg is easy to combine with the trypsin in soybean milk and produce certain substance which can not be absorbed by the body, so it will greatly reduce the absorption of nutrients of the body.

    Third, avoid adding brown sugar in the soybean milk:
    It may taste sweet and fragrant if adding some brown sugar in the soybean milk. However, the organic acids in brown sugar will interact with the protein in soybean milk, and produce some metamorphic sediments, which may greatly damage the nutrients.

    Fourth, avoid putting the soybean milk in the vacuum flask:
    Soybean milk contains certain substance which can remove the incrustation in the vacuum flask. Under the condition of suitable temperature, taking soybean milk as the nourishment, the bacteria in the bottle will proliferate greatly. With only 3 to 4 hours, it can cause rancidity and metamorphism of the soybean milk.

    Fifth, avoid drinking soybean milk with an empty stomach:
    If you drink soybean milk with an empty stomach, most of the protein in it would be changed into heat and consumed in human body, so it can not fully play the role of nourishing. While drinking soybean milk, you can eat some starchy foods such as bread, pastries, steamed bun and so on. In such a way, the protein in soybean milk, under the action of the starch, can fully interact with the gastric juice, so that the nutrients can be fully absorbed.

    Apart from the above mentioned taboos, there are also other points you should pay attention to when drinking soybean milk. For example, you should never drink soybean milk at the same time when taking medicines, and never drink too much soybean milk, etc. We should keep these taboos in mind and be careful when drinking soybean milk.
