  • As we all know, when the doctors cure diseases for their patients, what they often do is "suiting the remedy to the case". Just as the treatment of different diseases requires different kinds of medicine, it is the same with fruits. As different kinds of fruits have different effects to human body, so each fruit is suitable for some specific disease. Now we will introduce which kind of fruit should people eat according to different diseases.

    First, kidney disease
    People who suffer from kidney disease should eat more watermelon and cantaloupe. Because watermelon and cantaloupe contain a large number of citrulline, this kind of amino acid has the effect of promoting the urination, so as to help the patients with kidney disease recover from the illness.

    Second, gastrointestinal disease
    People who suffer from gastrointestinal disease are advised to eat more banana, apple, papaya, pineapple and grape. Banana is the most effective fruit to improve the digestion and absorption of the food in the body. If the apple is mashed or cooked, it will be much more digestible and absorbable.

    Third, hypertension, atherosclerosis and heart disease
    Those who suffer from hypertension, atherosclerosis and heart disease should eat more fruits such as watermelon, persimmon, mango, papaya, peach, banana, cantaloupe, strawberry, kiwi, lemon, pomegranate, as well as orange. All of these fruits are rich in potassium, which can prevent the accumulation of sodium in the body, so as to prevent high blood pressure and other diseases.

    Fourth, diabetes
    It is better for the diabetes patients to eat some fruits which have a sour taste and contain plenty of vitamin C. For example, grapefruit, strawberry, kiwi, pomegranate, persimmons, papaya, and orange are all very suitable for them.

    Fifth, anemia and low blood pressure
    Patients who suffer from anemia and low blood pressure are advised to eat more pears and strawberries, which all contain a great number of iron and various kinds of vitamins.

    Sixth, cold
    If you catch a cold, you should eat more fruits such as strawberries, citrus fruits, watermelon, papaya, mango and grapes. These fruits are rich in vitamin C and vitamin A, which all have very good effect on the treatment of cold.

    Seventh, sore throat
    For those who suffer from sore throat, the best way to alleviate the pain is to eat some strong acidic citrus fruits and honey together, or drink some citrus fruits juice added with honey, which are all very effective in treating sore throat.
