Many people like to choose the foods which are considered healthy. Are the foods really healthy if they are considered healthy? In fact, many foods are not as healthy as people think. Some harmful foods will be explained as follows.
The most common bread in America is a kind of white round one. Generally speaking, high-quality bread is made of flour, water, little salt and yeast. However, nowadays, the compositions of the white bread are rather diverse, such as sugar, corm syrup and additives. These compositions can be transformed into the blood sugar inside the human body. Even some kinds of whole wheat bread are also harmful to the human health, as some manufacturers have added sugar, salt and softener into them.
Wheat, barley, rice and oat are always important to the human body. The protein, dietary fibers and vitamins contained in them can accelerate the healthy growth of the human body. However, many manufacturers make use of the reputations of these foods to produce the foods without any nutrients at all. They mix some few grains with much starch, sugar, corn syrup, salt, edible pigment and antiseptics together to produce new kinds of foods. It can be seen that the nutritional value of grains has already been decreased.
Organic food is always regarded as the healthiest food in everyday life. The raw materials of organic food contain no pesticide and chemical fertilizer. However, the nutritional value of organic food has been threatened by the interest of some manufacturers. For example, some manufacturers use organic grains to raise the milk cow and further produce the so-called “organic milk”. Many kinds of organic food have already lost the original nutrients.
In Italy, the production of pizza has been protected by the law. The rule asks that pizza must be made of whole wheat flour, redeye, white cheese, olive oil and so on. Therefore, the nutritional value of pizza is rather high. However, the pizza on the market all over the world has been mixed with antiseptics, artificial fat, stale meat, and much salt and so on. The content of sodium contained in such a kind of pizza is very high, but the nutritional value is rather low.
The food mentioned above is just a part of unhealthy foods in everyday life. They seem healthy and beneficial, but the truth is opposite. When people buy the foods, they must pay attention to the content of antiseptics, additives, artificial fat and so on contained in the foods so as to avoid the foods which can endanger the human health.
