Patients Should Be Careful When Eating Fruits
  • Patients Should Be Careful When Eating Fruits
  • "Eating more fruits is beneficial to the health of the body."--this sentence is for the general population. As for people who have suffered from some disease, they should pay special attention when eating fruits. If they do not eat fruits correctly, it is likely to aggravate the condition of the disease.

First, nephritis patients: do not eat banana
Why should the nephritis patients avoid eating banana? This is because banana contains a lot of potassium and magnesium, along with the poor excreting function of the kidney for nephritis patients, so eating bananas will lead to the imbalance of the calcium, potassium and magnesium in the blood, which will make the kidney disease much worse. At the same time, the magnesium contained in bananas may inhibit the function of the nervous and cardiovascular systems. What's more, people who suffer from arthritis and diabetes should also not eat bananas, because bananas contain too much sugar, and will slow down the blood circulation and lead to the accumulation of metabolite, so it may aggravate the disease.

Second, constipation patients: do not eat apple
Apple is rich in tannin. After the tannin combines with the protein, it will slow down the peristalsis of the intestines, thus prolonging the residence time of the feces in the intestinal tract. As a result, although some experts have proposed "ten reasons for eating an apple every day", but as for people suffering from constipation, they should not eat too many apples.

Third, diarrhea patients: do not eat pear
Pear is not suitable for people suffering from diarrhea, because it is rich in pectin, and the traditional Chinese medicine believes that pear is cold in nature, so it will easily aggravate the condition of diarrhea.

Fourth, gastropathy patients: do eat acidic fruits such as lemon, red bayberry, plums, etc.
It is self-evident that these acidic fruits may stimulate the secretion of gastric acid, and aggravate the stomach illness.

Fifth, stone patients: do not eat persimmon
Eating a lot of persimmon will lead to stomach stones. This has something to do with the abundant tannin acid contained in persimmon. Particularly for the elderly people, if they eat too much persimmon, it may easily result in intestinal obstruction.

Sixth, hypoglycemia patients: do not eat litchi
Eating too much litchi may aggravate the condition of hypoglycemia. What's more, people who suffer from chronic tonsillitis, pharyngitis, allergy or diabetes patients all should not eat too much fresh litchi.
