Synthesis and characterization of copper (II) complexes with diphenylpyraline hydrochloride

A new series of copper complexes formed through the reaction of diphenylpyraline hydrochloride (DP.HCl) with copper(II) salts were synthesized. The solid complexes isolated were characterized by conductivity measurements, elemental analyses and magnetic susceptibility studies. The molecular structure of the Cu(C₁₉H₂₃ON)₂Cl₂ complex was investigated by X-ray diffraction.
